Thanks Richard, I appreciate it. I will be buying a new slide come monday. I have also found an air filter dealer. That friggin slide is a piece of trash , the vacumn piston is a waste of time, i'm thinking of changing to another type of mikuni with a manual slide so I dont have to rely on vacumn to pull the slide. a mechanical linkage will do it for me. If they cannot come up with a long term sollution such as chroming the slide or making it out of a better metal, I mean. Thanks again. Matt.
